Critica Strengthens Leadership Team with CFO
Appointment
Critica Limited (ASX: CRI) (Critica or the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Robert
Ierace as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 12 October 2026.
Mr Ierace is an experienced resources and energy finance executive with more than 15 years as CFO of ASX-
listed mining and energy companies. He has worked across listed organisations with resource projects in
Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America and has raised more than A$1 billion through equity and debt
transactions.
Most recently, Mr Ierace was CFO of Toubani Resources Limited, where he played a key role in funding the
development of the Kobada Gold Project in Mali. In July 2026, he secured and finalised a US$208 million funding
package for construction of the project, following an A$125 million capital raising in October 2025. He previously
held CFO roles with Strandline Resources Limited and Vulcan Energy Resources Limited.
Critica CEO Jacob Deysel said:
“Robert’s appointment is another important step in building the team to take Critica forward. We are assembling
a group with the experience, capability and ambition to advance two significant critical minerals opportunities in
Mt Lindsay and Jupiter.
Robert brings extensive experience in project funding and capital markets, including raising more than A$1 billion
across his career. Importantly, he knows what it takes to help move resource projects from studies through
financing and into development.
Combined with the appointment of Hannah Badenach to our Board, there is real momentum building at Critica.
With the quality of the team now coming together around Mt Lindsay and Jupiter, I’m incredibly excited about
what we can achieve over the next few years.”
Mr Ierace said:
“I am excited to be joining Critica at this stage of the Company’s growth. The combination of Mt Lindsay and
Jupiter provides Critica with exposure to commodities that are increasingly important to global critical mineral
supply chains.
I have spent a significant part of my career helping resource companies fund and advance projects through key
stages of development, and I look forward to working with Jacob, the Board and the broader team to help
advance Mt Lindsay and Jupiter.”
Mr Ierace is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, a Graduate
Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and a Graduate Certificate of Applied Finance and Investment.
This announcement has been authorised for release by the Board of Critica Limited.
